Niseko Tokyu Grand Hirafu

This camera looks out from the mountain center of Grand Hirafu, the largest and busiest of the four Niseko United resorts. On a clear day the view opens up toward Mt. Yotei across the valley.

Hirafu village at the base of the mountain has grown into Niseko's main international hub, with lodges, restaurants and bars built up around the powder-snow reputation of the surrounding slopes.

Hirafu also runs one of the largest night-skiing operations anywhere, with lit runs staying open into the evening long after most resorts have closed. It changes what this camera shows: lights on the pistes and lift activity continuing well after dark through the season, where a comparable view elsewhere would have gone quiet by late afternoon.
